    NGD: David Gilmour Signature Stratocaster

Exactly the reason why I finally picked one up, before they disappear for good but to resurface for twice the cost on eBay! Never letting this one go :D.

    NGD: David Gilmour Signature Stratocaster

Totally know what you mean, I'd been eyeing one for almost ten years at this point!

    NGD: David Gilmour Signature Stratocaster

Over the holidays I picked up a DG signature that I've been playing nonstop ever since. She's absolutely inspirational to hold, best Strat I've ever played. Thought I'd introduce her to the world with a cover of the song that started my love of Pink Floyd!

    NGD: Blackmachine B6 (with Bonus!)

Sorry for massively necroing my own post, but I wanted to share an update with anyone interested (and who wanted to know what the bridge sounded like). Five years later, she's still the best guitar I've ever played, in feeling and in tone.

NGD: 2008 Gibson "Inspired by Slash" Les Paul VOS

Not that I'm aware of haha. Why do you ask? Yeah, I can understand that. I'm 23, and the guitarists I latched onto early on were either playing EBMMs or exotics like Blackmachines. I have two weaknesses: (black) strats cause of David Gilmour and LPs cause of Slash. :D Regardless of tastes on...

NGD: 2008 Gibson "Inspired by Slash" Les Paul VOS

Hi all! Not quite NGD (had her for a few months), but I finally snagged one of these beauties. Limited release of 300 back in 2008 - it's been a dream of mine to own one ever since. Only a couple pictures, but check her out in action in the linked video!

    NGD: Blackmachine B6 (with Bonus!)

I haven't had to mess with it much, but it's been very comfortable to play on and seems quite easy to adjust. It's a little more comfortable than the Hipshot I have on my Mayones, and one hundred times more comfortable than the Fender modern tremolo I have haha.

Equilibrium Guitars - Accipiter 7 "Mardrom"

I had a similar experience! Yeah, agreed, I´m definitely sold on the Aftermath bridge. I still think I might change the neck pickup at some point, maybe a Cold Sweat or Holydiver replacement...

    String Gauge Advice?

Thanks for doing the calculations for me dude! I'll try that out. If it doesn't work, I'll go talk to knuckle head. Really appreciate it!

    String Gauge Advice?

Ahh, stupid of me to glaze over those details. I'll recalculate. . . Do the tone balance and string tension have to be mutually exclusive? I definitely get its importance, but I don't like lighter strings. Also, Meshuggah uses 29" scale lengths, don't they? That .09 will feel pretty tight.

    String Gauge Advice?

    Hey guys, I've calculated some string gauges that I think I'll like on my 8-string using some tension calculators, but I want some seasoned players to tell me whether it's a good idea or not. Here: E4 . .010" PL == 8.25kg B3 ..014" PL == 9.07kg G3 ..018" PB == 8.34kg D3 ..026" PB == 10.08kg...

Equilibrium Guitars - Accipiter 7 "Mardrom"

Sweet! HNGD! What sold you on the Aftermaths? I have them in my 8, and even though I like them a lot some of the other BKP models look enticing. . .

Man, that's a horror story. . . Glad you got this beauty out of the ordeal, though. Enjoy, you definitely earned it!

    NGD: Mayones Regius 8 QM

Great service! Chris really seems to know what he's doing. He also worked out expedited shipping for me, so I got the guitar in 4 days while on vacation in Florida (I couldn't wait ) Only complaint I have is that the info on the guitar was pretty inconsistent. Some parts of the website said...

    New Pickup Day: DC800 w/ Duncan Nazgul/Sentient

I'm really interested in this set of pickups, especially thanks to some clever LOTR advertising from SD's marketing department! Hahaha in all seriousness though, they sound badass. I always hear a ton about the Nazgul, but how do you like the Sentient?

    NGD: Mayones Regius 8 QM

You guys are absolutely right - the scale is actually 28" unless I measured in the wrong place, but definitely more than 25.4". The certificate from Mayones says 25.4" hahaha, but who cares! She feels great, so I think I'll be happy with the scale! I got it from Mayones' single dealer in the...

    NGD: Mayones Regius 8 QM

Thanks all! By the way, I've received some conflicting info about the scale length from Mayones vs. the dealer, and I'm not sure I believe that it's 25.4"... If it is that short then I'm a little worried that I'll have trouble keeping the 8th string tight. Any thoughts? I love this guitar, but I...
