I agree with the suggestion above that you have to look at your technique in holding the barre chord.
You may put an excessive tension on your fretting hand, more than necessary to make a clear sound.
Train your left hand to put minimum tension, just enough to play each note in the chord clearly...

What I may suggest you is try to write with different approach. You will come up with something outside your usual creative outcome, which maybe great. You can focus on form, a theme, chord progression, dynamic transition, or any composition element.

Basically when I try to train my fretting hand, I try to make it as relax as possible and make it a priority, and I don't try to remove excess movement. The excess movement will be diminished by itself and my pinky finger will be a lot more "tamed".
