Excellent. I should get along just fine with that for sure. :yesway:
I have been using nothing but passive pickups for years now. Was once an avid EMG user, but really fell off with them. How do you find the 57/66 combo to be? 81/85 always had that annoying, faint buzzing going on when...
Good consideration. I don't think it'll make much difference to me. Most of my guitars have round as opposed to flat necks. My Fujigen LPC its pretty round and I love that neck to death.
I've never disliked an ESP I've put hands on. I really love the Ibanez, but as things usually go with me, I grow tired of trems after awhile. One trem equipped guitar in my armory is enough. I have two right now. So I think I may take this trade. I've heard great things about the EMG 57/66 set...
I have the possibility of landing an EII Horizon NT in See Thru Black (no trem, w/ EMG 57/66 set) for my Ibanez Prestige RG3550MZ from 2009 in galaxy white, but I need to toss in an extra $300 cash. Both are near mint, hardcases would be included. I feel like this would be a pretty even deal...
Brief & Accurate Description of gear/guitar: Selling my PRS 7 string. It is in excellent condition. Hasn't seen much play time lately. Made some upgrades during my time of owning it (I'm the original owner). Upgrades include a black Hipshot bridge, Seymour Duncan Black Winter shop floor custom...
Yeah, I'm not so much into teles in general, but I don't dig the inlays. But as stated in the OP, those quilt top X-11s are sexy. Especially the black burst one. Has me intrigued. Might be a nice little project for me if the price is right.
I had a very similar experience with B.C. Rich. Previous experiences were with Bronze series trash. Tried higher end import stuff years later (NJ and Deluxe models) and really liked those. Given Cort has made guitars for so long and for so many different companies, I'd think their higher end...
Haven't seen much about Cort on here, but saw a couple things that looked nice on their Facebook from this year's NAMM and wanted to share.
The X-11QM models on the right look fantastic! Has me GASing. :agreed:
