How do you manage to keep it so clean? I got mine as a gift and it was quite dirty (wife gifted me his late husband one) I clean, I clean, I clean...but it seems like the dirty gets out of the guitar itself

It has it flavour and I've really seen much much worse...like Jazzmasters for example (and I would buy a Jazzmaster for its peculiar sound)

    Post Your GAS

Honestly I think the Ibby is the worse looking guitar he had been endorsed with It's very bland and it doesn't help that I don't usually like guitars with the back and sides finished differently than the top

Dealing with edge of break up sound

I was fiddling after reading your interesting post I use and Helix with a volume pedal set on fixed parameter, and I'm still able to control volume dynamics with the pick and saturate

Dealing with edge of break up sound

Yeah, that's exactly what I mean, and I think that it's more reliable and more efficient, more controllable maybe. And more than anything that you don't lose signal, but I'd like to know if it's subjective or objective, you know...for science

The CRAZIEST guitar gear collection on the internet?

Very blunt but very honest "I don't care a lot about your collection, but I'm interested in how you make money to afford it"

Dealing with edge of break up sound

I was thinking... When you want to clean the sound from an edge of break up tone, you usually fiddle with the guitar volume to find the spot. That's what guitarists have usually done for decades. But, especially for those who use amp modellers or multieffect processors, what about inserting a...

Inferno Fest 2024 - ICS Vortex, Tjodalv and Mustis playing one song with Dimmu LOLZ

Better to have a deal with Nuclear Blast giving you the chance to record in a reknown studio but paying in tattoos (as an afterthought, it wasn't in the deal, but a "gift" for the success of the record), than being the first record of a label promising you money, but making you record in a dampy...

Inferno Fest 2024 - ICS Vortex, Tjodalv and Mustis playing one song with Dimmu LOLZ

That's Nagash on bass Another one of those guys that got ripped off by Shagrath and Silenoz I happened to be quite in the know of the early 90s black metal scene, as I had friends who were journalists and/or pen pals with some of the guys of the 90s wave of Norwegian BM So I happened to spend...

Inferno Fest 2024 - ICS Vortex, Tjodalv and Mustis playing one song with Dimmu LOLZ

While I generally agree on Emperor, I think the record that is the essence of early black metal is Satyricon's Nemesis Divina About the recordings...many of these guys were 16 when they recorded their first stuff On the first Enslaved demo, Ivar Bjornson was 13...
