Eloy is a beast
One of the best of the new generation
Don't care about Slipknot that much, I enjoy them but I'm surely not a fan, but thy scored big with Eloy, the guys has groove and power for ages
How do you manage to keep it so clean?
I got mine as a gift and it was quite dirty (wife gifted me his late husband one)
I clean, I clean, I clean...but it seems like the dirty gets out of the guitar itself
Honestly I think the Ibby is the worse looking guitar he had been endorsed with
It's very bland and it doesn't help that I don't usually like guitars with the back and sides finished differently than the top
I was fiddling after reading your interesting post
I use and Helix with a volume pedal set on fixed parameter, and I'm still able to control volume dynamics with the pick and saturate

That's Nagash on bass
Another one of those guys that got ripped off by Shagrath and Silenoz
I happened to be quite in the know of the early 90s black metal scene, as I had friends who were journalists and/or pen pals with some of the guys of the 90s wave of Norwegian BM
So I happened to spend...
While I generally agree on Emperor, I think the record that is the essence of early black metal is Satyricon's Nemesis Divina
About the recordings...many of these guys were 16 when they recorded their first stuff
On the first Enslaved demo, Ivar Bjornson was 13...
