    I love Ibanez, but they have a tendency of discontinuing their best stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if they did. The Premiums are better than half of the other guitars that they released this year in exchange for getting rid of them. :wallbash:

    RG2228M or RG2228A GW

    Personally I would go for the RG2228M. I hate active pickups but the sound pretty massive on an 8 string. When buying a guitar I always look at appearance and convenience. If the appearance is what you want but the convenience isn't, it's always easier to change the pickups than the neck haha.
