Sounds like you have pretty much everything but need a basic audio interface and software. Considering your genre, I don't know if you even care for live guitar, in the classical sense of miked cabs, etc. Might go with a freeware pack, the LePou packs were great with LeCab IR loader and some...

it looks like it does some cool tricks behind the scenes, I feel like it is paralel comp and some audio sweetening. On sale now so picked it up to try. Generally I try to keep drum performances as organic and live as...
JBL 305s probably...Kali are also pretty good, I'd say pretty much everything will work, I'll look for the bigger size I can get at this price range, so probably 5 inch. M-Audio are really good in this price range...or see what you can get used, if you can touch some of the more expensive used...
almost pulled the trigger on it myself but honestly, I got quite a few drum plugs as it is. That one was more of a direct competitor to NI Battery if you remember that one. Once I found EZDrummer, I just couldn't go back to these unless it's just for triggering a real drummer performance via it...
Just released this - looking for some feedback.
Thanks all., hope everyone has been doing good and keeping busy recording and writing some tasty tuneage!
I chased these things forever with pedals, sims and multi-effect units, until a revelation hit me - it's the physical gear. Also, a lot less distortion to "tape" than what I was using. High end mic preamp helped, something with a real transformer, multimic setup, usually 3 mics or 2 mics and DI...
OP, sounds like you need a fully fledged studio to take the production from start to finish with you at the helm.
As an engineer at one point I was hungry and took everything, from the church kids that play 3 chord pop punk to some super talented people. No matter what you do, put your best...
For the most part you should think in a context of a mix, that's why most presets are way overhyped as they are missing the rest of the band.
Since it's anniversary of Randy's death, here's one example.
Think about hearing this by itself:
Yuk, right? No depth, kinda scratchy, airy and...
What about without the DI box? Fireface clips by itself? Well, the -15db padding should do just that, maybe youre not hitting the front end as loud as you want? I have never had that problem with anything but Focusrite and I own quite a few guitars that are very hot, even one with X2N and 3 more...
I dig it...I just wish I heard this whole thing with a real drummer, would be even better. I know it's expensive but I think that's the last 5% missing. Great playing! Also - love the artwork!
58A was a bit bright IMO but it works, need more eq in final mix. I prefer Sennheiser e609, even e835 over these two but I do use a SM57 now with a condenser (2 mic method) and like it a lot.
