You can tell the year by the serial number on the back of the headstock. Not that it makes much of a difference, it's an awesome guitar, just good stuff to know.
there are smaller screws inside the posts, loosen the posts, then get a smaller allen key and loosen the inner post. There is a hole right in the middle (looks like the post is hollow) once you have brought the inner post up, you can then retighten the larger ones, get them to the height you...
Yep, it's a pretty nice guitar. Got mine from MF or AM a while back when they were clearing their stock. Think I only paid 299 for it, new without a case. After a quick setup, mine plays like a champ. The lows sound great, and it always gets a nice reaction at drunken campfire parties.
