Oh yeah! I really love that shop. They are all about musicians. I have an HD28 on layaway now. I tried a D28, HD28, D35 as well as a Taylor 717 (Dreadnought Spruce/Rosewood). Out of the Martins I thought the HD28 sounded best. The 717 and HD28 sounded so much alike I had a hard time decided...
I’ve been diving deep into the acoustic realm the past year or so. I’ve been working on Travis picking and obsessed with John Prine. I’m heading up to Northampton this weekend to try out a D28 and HD28.

I’m through the first 8 tracks and I’m digging it. Feels somehow “old school” so far. Not sure if it’s the Rutan influence, but seems like it’s less technical in a good way.
I need more Nick Schendielos in the mix. I dig the track but the production isn’t as enjoyable as Sun Eater. I shall to listen to it a few more times on different media like the home stereo and earbuds etc.
