Yeah you have to call it in. Which I would recommend to do regardless just because the online builder doesn't have half of the options avalaible option 50 or not. I would only use the builder to get an idea on price and then call in to move forward with it.
Yeah I'm not sure about the un flamed bevel but I do like it. I'm assuming since they're able to do it on the CTs that this was more of a design choice for the vaders and K6s than it was a limitation.
Honestly I didn't really care much for the new headstock when they first release photos online mainly because thier H33 is one of my favorite headstocks of all time. But with this build Jeff asked if I would go with the new inline and after seeing it in person I'm so glad I did. It definitely...
I've used several 900s on tour as well as 800s and 2000s. While the 900s aren't my favorite they aren't as bad as people say they are and for as cheap as you can get them it's worth it to put some money and get it switched over to the right set of tubes. They came stock with 5881s but with some...

Thanks man! And I couldn't agree more. The tone we got mic'd up is definitely a little darker. I wanted to EQ for this mix but I also wanted to keep it true to what came out of the cab so I opted not to. Just to give you a true feel for the profiles we made. And that's definitely something I...
Here's a quick mix I did sepcifically for this guitar play through. Real Drums. I left the vocals out. Amps are an Engl Invader and Powerball that we profiled. Bogner 4x12 w/v30s and Devided By 13 2x12 w/greenbacks. Mainly royer 121 and 57 through API 512 to 550b but there where some other...
Honestly not near as heavy as I thought they'd be. The silver burst is quite bit lighter and has a more resonate bright tone. I have an dc 127c with maple neck/alder body/flamed maple top and these walnut guitars are just a tad lighter the that. I'm interested to see how the walnut necks hold up...
I'm pretty sure you can't just plug the emg's in. I'm sure you'll have to switch some stuff wiring wise. As far as the sound of the Carvin pups I'm pretty happy with them. They have a lot more dynamics and reveal more of the wood and tone of the guitars then EMG's do.
Don't really post much on here but I'm trying to get more active on forums and what not. Figured I'd share some photos of how awesome these Carvins came out! Here's the Specs: DC600C Black Stain LN - Floyd Rose Locking Nut BBE - Natural Top Wood Body Binding w/ Straight Edges (N/A...
