Yeah, its just the gauge I prefer. I hate the strings too tight. I havent forgot about the video. Working on a project car and it consumes a lot of my time
Like they say when selling a car, theres an a$$ for every seat. Im sure you will sell it, just gotta wait for that buyer to come along. I had no hope. I finally sold it and the guy said he used to have one and sold it. He also needed another 7 for an upcoming gig, and he had one in the back...
Yeah, Ill grab a vid of it. Im pretty used to floppy strings. Ever since my first guitar, I bought the 10-60 gauge for drop B on my 6, and even some in A. I cant stand tight, my 8 has 10-74 and I have it in drop D. It is perfect to me. The 8 feels good on the first few strings but the rest are...
If you are talking to me, nope lol Im not light when I hit the strings. It is kind of loose but its not as loose as a 25.5 would be though. Its a lot tighter than my 25.5. Im used to loose strings though and this is not as loose as I am used to. I wish the rest of them were a bit looser but I...
The problem is, they sell for $800+ ship/850-900 shipped USD on ebay all the time. I want one realllllly bad, cant swing over 1200 with shipping for it though :noway:
Nope, havent had it adjusted yet. It sits in a closet which is cold, so I think thats what the deal is. She plays great, just had her out last night though. I still need to take it over to my uncles house and have him look at it, but i looked at the neck the other day and it looks like its fine...
Maybe just a bad string of luck? Like I said, I have not had any problems with either of them, though Ive notice after a day of adding the last 4 strings ( I changed just the first 4 when I restrung it and left the last 4 stock strings) that fret buzz is back. Im going to take it to my uncles...
Wow, that sucks to hear. MY RG 7321 and the RG8 were new, and fine out of the box. I actually didnt need to adjust the truss rod with the 10-74's I put on but everything looked fine when i popped the truss rod cover. It did have fret buzz out of the box bad and the action was pretty high but...
I have a 27" scale, E is no problem and i have 10-74 on mine. in F the strings are tight like a standard 6, E is not really floppy either, though i havent experimented yet, but I have had it in E
