nope. it’s all good. new ones are black. old ones prior to 2014 i believe, were red. all red coat series are now black with newer labels.

I have gotten 3 emails now saying to get mine from fractal. I keep listening to clips online from Leon Todd, and I'm just not sold on the tones. I'm sure it is solid unit and does so so much, but to me it still sounds like a modeler. Believe me, i want to like it...I'm just not on board yet...

I have the 015 incoming. Hope it is close to peavey tones. already own the 005(which is a great pedal), was gonna grab the 012, or the 017, but wanted the 015 first. Hearing clips of the 012, the cleans and drive sound good. Damnit Mooer....make me spend more money. hahaha

I have a similar backup setup. I have the precision drive into the 005, but don't use the radar. Just use 3sigma audio impulsive, or WOS. Either way, It records great. I did a Serenity video using that setup and it sounds excellent. I have the mooer 015 incoming. should be here by...

Yeah..saw on some sites the 016 is called "Phoenix" and is based off German metal amps/Engl. 017 is the Cali-MKIV 018 is 100w Plexi These are the only 3 i am seeing online, and you can order on amazon, but look to be shipped mid august.

What was the 019 gonna be? now that i look, the 016 might be an Engl.

i have to ask my tech about this, cuz i know Fender is sending out kits for authorized techs to do it...not sure if there is cost besides bench price?

it says it’s based off the original 5150 on Mooer’s website/product listing. i’ve only seen about 3 youtube vids on it and so far need to hear more before i jump.

it doesn’t look to me that the 16 is an Engl. might be, but it doesn’t look like one in the pic

interested in the GE300. I did a video with the 005 mini(brown sound). that pedal sounds killer through IR’s and even the built in cab sim sounds pretty good as well. for $98 the pedal is excellent. might need to get the original 5150 mini pedal or the fortin if it’s modeled after the bones.

Didn’t realize they were that much wider, but looking back I guess so. Anyway, this guitar is much more up my alley and suited for me.

I have a 2000 ibanez rg2020xtb that has original wizard neck. That’s nice too. Yup. I e heard the iby maples frets get sharp on a couple of occasions. Pickups are a Crunchlab and a blaze. Came to me that way as I bought it used. They sound good though.

Got it about month ago, but put on some NYXL 57-9 and had the frets rounded as they came pretty sharp. I sold my Schecter KM-7II about 6 months ago, was looking for a little shorter scale length, and not the jumbo frets. Anyway, I dig it a lot and it stays in tune really well.

Sounds to me as if your string height and saddle position might be too high?
