Oh yes, didn't think of that. I agree with you. Is the bleached Wenge $50 per piece bleached, or does that get you whatever you want bleached? I am looking at getting the neck/headstock and the body bleached Wenge and having the fretboard be normal unbleached Wenge.

I really dig the glitch. The more pictures/videos of the Oni the better. :)

A little bit comes off still when I wipe the board. I didn't oil it until it was COMPLETELY clean (because I was impatient and wanted to play). But the color does not fade no matter how much I wipe one spot. We will see how this dye holds up in the long run and sure to let you all know.

Yeah, the ceramics lab has a ton of these sanding sheets and they are too big for the 8" polish wheels. In addition to diamond polish, we could also take some Scanning Electron Microscope images to give people REALLY close up images.

Thanks, it is actually pretty easy. As long as you take your time it will work out fine. I also had the advantage that the neck has polyurethane and I could selectively sand it off to get the dye where I wanted it. If it bled I could just sand it off the polyurethane. It doesn't feel quite...
