What DAW are you using? You should be able to output the DI signal to a bus while having the gain track output through your monitors. Hope this helps.

Hey there, Try looking at your playback engine and make sure it is set to the 6i6 and not 'Protools Aggregate.' I haven't however used 12 and am only familiar with 10/11 but that's where I'd start.
