I’ll fully admit that I had a boden guitar with the TT frets but DID NOT know I needed a tuner that had the correct offsets for tuning it and I was just using a regular tuner. The whole time I thought that certain chords sounded better than a normal fret guitar while others sounded worse. But...
Teemu joining Megadeth is most likely the biggest reason Time II is “finished”. Jari realized he was in jeopardy of losing the one guitarist who’d put up with his BS. Now my bets are on Wintersun trying to secure opening for Megadeth on tour for the exposure (obviously) and so teemu pulls...
I have a wrangler 4xe and yes you can run in electric only mode until the battery runs out before switching to gas. The caveat to that is if you get over 60-65mph on the highway, it’s too cold (like below freezing), or you absolutely floor it from a stop, it’ll fire up the gas engine regardless...
Yeah, was there last night and their power play (and the last couple minutes of overtime before the shootout) was flat out awful. It’s as if the other teams have their playbook and Pens don’t know what to do….sigh.
I’ve bought two M-1000s and two M-1007s in the last year. All Korean made, all with no problems whatsoever. No complaints from me on quality and this coming from a guy whose spent the majority of my 30 years playing guitar on Ibanezes and Petruccis.
Yeah, this was announced like three years ago and I still don’t think we’ve seen or heard any music from this group yet. By the way, here’s the article (2017!) that said Jeff was writing for Alissa‘s solo album...
The other difference between the two is the E-II ones have a straight 12 inch fretboard radius. The LTDs either compound 12-16 or straight 16 depending on year (I think).
I know right, he talked about that solo album so long ago and it was pretty well known he signed a three record deal so hopefully we’ll get it now. And wasn’t Alissa also working on a solo album that she said Jeff wrote a ton of stuff for?
Thanks all! Lots to check out here. Any issues with low volume on higher ohm headphones? Just wondering if it’s better to stick to lower ohm level cans vs higher ohm.
For those times when you have to use headphones with your axefx, QC, helix, etc. what headphones are you guys using? I’d be interested in a quality pair but they don’t have to be super budget friendly or super expensive. A good balance!
If you want to keep tension similar to what you’re used to across all 6 strings with 9-42 in standard you need Daddario 9.5-44 for Eb and 10-46 for D standard. The screws on the back will need a small turn (in one direction or the other) to get your tremolo to stay parallel to the body but...
