Bear is a buddy of mine and luckily he started modding Boss MT-2's again, so I had to snag one. He adds a small daughterboard inside the MT-2 which adds some of the clipping and Gyrator EQ qualities to the MT-2. I think it sounds badass.

thanks! I used my Balaguer baritones. One side is Laney AOR with a Droogen out front, other side is a Peavey VTM120 with an Illunination in front. Cabs were my custom ones, one with Weber Blue Dogs and one with G12K85’s.

interesting. I hadn’t really considered that. A 1tb SSD is 150$ which is more than fair. I guess I’ll check out a graphic card as well. Would maxing our my RAM be worth it on my older system? Would that be better put towards a new build?

I thought that video and audio tend to work better on platter drives than SSD? I remember everyone saying that saving and using the disk drives was better for some reason. And I am using the on board GPU. Like I said, since I don’t play games I never added a separate graphics card.

OS runs off the SSD and the everything is always stored on regular HDs.

Yeah, more so than my other mini amps. I think it’s because it’s meant to be more than just a mini power amp like the quilter micro block. It’s meant to actually be an amp with a pre and post section.

IMO KT88's are like the big brother of tubes. They're stupid loud with tons of low end. Not sure how they'll work with such a high gain sound, but it's definitely worth a shot.
