Mine has the satin finished neck as well. It's very smooth as long as my hands are dry; but if my palm sweats too much I start to get some friction. Do you notice anything similar?

Do you mean the 10-46 for the highest five strings, and then a 59 for the low A? There are only six strings total. For the record, this is what I have on the guitar at the moment: B .013 F# .017 D .026 A .036 E .046 A .059 but it doesn't feel right, in some way that I can't really articulate.
