My Savage sounded best through my VHT FatBottom cab, but was no slouch through my ole' Crate cab with v30's and H75's either. Funny enough, I didn't like it as much with my mesa 212(closed back with v30s).

Okay, after having this amp for a few weeks, still a 10/10. They really did great for this being their first model. It's like everything I've ever wanted a Marshall to sound like. Doesn't like pedals in front of it much though, luckily the onboard boost is perfect.

Not new in the least bit. Was a donor cab years ago from a buddy. It's got v30s and H75s in it now days and honestly sounds great! Amp sounds great with the mesa 212 on the other side of the room, and that fatbottom cab sitting there as well. Great amp.

Thanks bud. That'll be the next one I try, but for now I ordered a 250k pot to see if that tames it a bit. My volume pot was taking a shit anyways, so here's hoping this helps or I'm buying another 500k and new pickups lol

Looking at a 100 watt and a 50 watt on the bay. Reading that the 50 watt has a cleaner clean channel though. I wonder how much of a difference the 50 and 100 would be with a load box?
