Putting myself out there for good or bad haha... I'm a simple man and like simple things... Unabashed QC user.
Did a little recording test - was trying to see how well I could sync up an iPhone video with its audio stripped and combining with an audio recording direct from the QC.
Just to show...
If anyone knows Rectos it’s Fluff. Pretty good demo I thought. In the mix first then some know tweaking. Says more like a really good Rev G than a C. Which isn’t a bad thing.
As others mentioned a boost may help. Would cut the lows and feel more responsive maybe. Also maybe a compressor in front too. But then you lose some dynamics but might not matter for this particular use case.
But also consider what pickups you're using too. You didn't mention that. But a...
Whoa! I was gonna sell the SV212 and keep the 1936 but I plugged into the SV212 later on… MUCH better match to the Dark Terror. Was less fizz and also a lot less low end boom.
The SV212 has V-Types (70W) and is an 8 ohm cab (so speakers are 16 ohm in parallel).
The 1936 has G12T-75s and is a...
Wanted to get a somewhat "cheap" little tube amp to have around, since I'm trying out digital and got rid of all my other amps.
Little fucker smokes! So much low end it's silly. Only 15W. Shit tons of gain. Fizzy but has character. Like a Recto. Shape control is weird but I knew that going in...

Might be worth checking out the comparison chart in this link to understand the FM3’s limitations vs its bigger brothers. Just in case something is a deal breaker.

Have you tried the MXR M77? (aka Custom Badass Modified OD). It has a 100 hz low cut know that can let it be as loose or tight as you want. There's also a sort of mid bump or mid shift button.
Is he a bit of a psychopath? Honest question. The level of minutiae he’s into with the Fractal models and firmware makes me think he’s definitely wired different.
Don't waste your breath man. You'll never convince the Fractal fanbois to have an open mind. And if you think it's bad here, don't ever go over to the The Gear Forum. lol
If anything Fractal zealots are the Tesla owners of the modeling world. LOL
Brief & Accurate Description of gear/guitar: Brand New In Box BNIB - never used, taken out of plastic or turned on. Received this week.
Ordered but changed my mind. Rather sell it to someone who wants it than deal with the Return. I went the QC route.
Modifications (if any): None
Accessories...
It will be in the next firmware update - 3.0.0.
They have to update the plug-ins. There are 2 that are ready - X versions of Plini and Gojira plugins. Next in line is the SLO 100 and Nameless.

Because I have the monitors also be my laptop speakers. Just better audio. That’s mainly why I had the interface in the first place.
For traveling I would go direct from QC into laptop.
Not totally disregarding the amp in the room thing. Just not currently practical or my focus.
My point was more that’s what I was only focused on in my prior foray into modeling. And I was comparing it (modeler into power amp into cab) too much with a real amp into a cab. I had also tried an...
Sorry to revive this thread... But I'm revisiting modeling and rethinking my previous attitude. A little over a year ago (and discussed somewhere back in this thread), I got an FM9 and SD PS170 power amp. I ended up frustrated, and convincing myself it "sucked" and returning it.
Fast forward to...
