with the help of a few guys on this forum about a year ago i made the wise decision to get the schecter c7 hellraiser with the floyd rose. once i settled on drop A for the 7th string i set up the floyd and have been tuning that way for months now leaving my old strat in drop c. its fun to switch...

Discovered this by accident today when I was switching the tuning from CGCGCE to CGCFGC... CGCFCC Absolutely awesome for bagpipe-style ideas and droning licks, and you can come up with some cool banjo-style licks with the top two strings tuned in unison.
