changing pickups

Hey guys, Does anyone have any experience on modding a ghost fret standard (Chapman Guitars)? I like how the guitar feels and the looks but the pickups are really bad so I am thinking about getting a pair of SD or Dimarzios on it and eventually changing the tuner to locking. Is there anyone who...
