What do you guys think about using this as a clearcoat? Looks dead easy and for someone like me without a proper shop or any spray equipment it looks super easy and that I could do my guitar in one day instead of weeks.

Im modding my ibanez rga121 and givint the body a makeover. Ive already sanded the guitar, and want the maple tops face to be darker than its sides. I want the face to come out like a goldish yellow cover, while the sides of the maple remain white ish, like a binding. then clear coat it...
So I ended up trading back with thekingmaker, the SX he was working on here...

Chris and I will be finishing a few guitar this summer and we're looking for recommendations for the clear coat.
I've done a little research and found "Nitrocellulose lacquer" has been used.
Any other suggestions..
