RGA 8 Crazy Pickups experiment
Greetings ppl, So I've got myself an Ibanez RGA8 2011 model and somehow what I've seen online about it got under my skin, so I ordered an EMG8x to swap it with the stock LOZ8 bridge as the neck doesn't really bother me and it sounds quite good with cleans (hence that's the only case i'd use it...- Almighty669

Ibanez RGA8 EMG 808x help!
Alright team, Just fitted my RGA8 with EMG 808x. Got everything wired up and the cleans sound amazing. However, when I run it through higher gain (i.e. 5150-esque levels), the whole thing sounds like the mids are cranked way up (muddy!) and I'm not getting that archetypal EMG sound. Ibanez RGA8 for first 8 string? Opinions?
I'm looking at getting the Ibanez RGA8. But I'd like some well-rounded opinions. None of that "it sucks get this one" crap. Actual feedback please&thanks.
