metal chip

My new Ibanez GSA60 comes with "sat10" bridge, like a Wilkinson or similar. I`m thinkin there is somethin missing in the sadless, I hope you understand the pics, like a "metal chip" used in edge pro. Am I wrong? I can find a clear pict to compare. What you think guys? here is the metal...
