Hello folks. I've been recording a song for my upcoming band project, and I was wondering if anyone had any comments regarding the mix. The instrumental isn't 100% finished and I threw in some filler after the second chorus as of now. We're gonna release some demos, and this is the current...
Hi everyone! So I just recorded my first 8-String track and thought I'd share it with you guyse. What I used gearwise is: Ibanez RG 2228 Line 6 Pod X3 Cubase 6 Superior Drummer (The Metal Foundry) I'm always open to questions and constructive criticism:wavey...
Hey guys! Just wanted to share a rerecorded version of a song from my old band! Used a Pod X3 for the bass + guitars, and SD2 + chango samples for the drums! Don't hesitate to leave a comment if you love/hate it! :) https://soundcloud.com/hypotc/emergentsea-the-pathfinder
Brief & Accurate Description of gear/guitar: Line 6 POD X3 multi-effects unit - this is in excellent condition and has never even left the house. Comes from a smoke-free environment. This maybe has 10 hours of use on it. It has never left my computer desk, and is as close to "new" as you will...
I'm kind of a new person to this, so give me all the critique you can! www.soundcloud.com/dakotak Newest song is: "Lobotomy Party" Tuning: (Low to High) CADGBE Thanks. All done with a POD X3, EZ Drummer and Cubase 5
So I just got my 6505+ and Im running my line pod x3 for noise gate and tube screamer. It sounds great just guitar and amp but the feedback. And the pod ruins my sound. Would be a good idea to ditch the pod and get pedals. Or does anyone else run the same setup and can make it sound decent?
Hey fellas, Hope everyone's doing o.k. 'round these parts. I was just messing with my PODX3 and checking out the dual tone options, and I decided to make a really ambient/atmospheric clean sound. There's a bunch of delay, reverb, and chorus in it. This is a pretty rough take, but I just...
Hey dudes! Couldn't sleep last night so I decided to craft this little bit. I'm using the Bulb patch with some DAW EQ, and I'm really surprised at how djenty it can sound when layered. I promise I'll stop being cheap and start posting actual songs down the road haha :). The guitar I used...
Hey peeps, Just recorded a little ditty to test out my PODX3 that I got for the big man's birthday. As stated in the title, I used Addictive Drums for the percussionistas, and FLS8 as my DAW. The tone you hear is straight up, raw Line 6 Big Bottom. No DAW EQ or anything. Cymbals are...
Okay I swear this is the final version. I added a Piano/synth Melody to layer over the riffage. I tried to make the song sound more cohesive. It's an A B A Tune and it modulates like a mo fugger. I'm pretty happy with it but I still have some things that I could work on. Like the drums and synth...
Hey guys, Finally brought the vetta head to the rehearsing room yesterday and got a bit frustrated. I have a passive PA speaker (12 inch woofer and a horn) that I use as my cabinet. Found couple problems that I wonder if any of you guys have also experienced: 1. High-frequency feedback from...
Ever since I have moved into my new apartment I haven't been able to dial in a good high gain sound with out this horrible buzz! Its so bad that on every Podx3 patch I make I have to crank the noise gate threshold to -27db and 0% decay. It chokes dynamics so hard, but I have to do it on every...
On this recording I used my big bottom patch on the X3. The guitar is in drop c. The piezo system on my MMJP6 came in handy for that tapping part at the beginning and at the end. The drums: Andy Sneap kick heavily eqed to my taste. The snare is a sample I made of my Tama metalworks. The...
I made the first song with my new equipment. I have no idea what genre it is maybe someone can tell me. Youtube(for your convenience) Soundclick(for sound quality) SoundClick artist: Axonic Rot - A complete disregard to genre. We play clean mellow songs with accompanied with intense...
Well I wrote a song recently and uploaded a demo that I was unsure about. I got lots of positive feedback, so I expanded the song and recorded it again. I used a load of new gear on this recording. I finally got my Podx3 sounding good so I used that. I got a new drum module, the Alesis DM5, so...
heya. long time no, uh, type....yeah. got a little clip of a song im working on. its kind of my tribute to one of my favorite bands evar, Soilwork. got some final touches and stuff, and maybe change a couple parts, and then "master" it (rofl). we'll see how well that goes, haha. anyways hope...
