tone building

Hey guys, I'm currently on a quest to find the best (for a decent price) cab to play djent/prog/jazz type stuff. Im into bands like Animals As Leaders, Polyphia, Plini, Intervals, Chon, etc... I want a rig that has a beautiful clean tone but can also sound good for soloing and can sound ballsy...

So much variety with tones in prog metal now adays. And the gear is awesome! What do you guys use? How do you approach your tones? Recording techniques?I'd love to share my chains and ideas

I want to build on my lead tone. I play mostly thrash/death metal with a Dean Razorbck V 255 through a 100 watt Marshall Valvestate 8100 head and a 2x12 harley benton vintage 30 cab. I allso use a Jim Dunlop Dime Crybaby. I definatly want more reverb than the valvestate seems to give, and...
