Hey all, back with another burning question 🔥.
Is running quarter inch guitar cable, into a device which goes into high power laptop USB-C or TBolt port a thing? Is that a popular option nowadays for a quick portable rig? I would love to run Toneforge Disruptor from a MacBook Pro using it’s speakers and/or headphones. For recording quick ideas or just playing in the living room for example. Plugging straight into the MacBook without a full blown interface like Apollo etc.
In addition would the standard MacBook Pro (M2) speakers be suffice for portable fun monitoring as well?
Thanks for all’s help with the DI signal split question from before, happy 2024.

I get it now ✅ since I already have a bigger UA interface it dawned on me it has some amp Sims on it that I’ve never used but I purchased long ago. Like Marshall JMPs Plexis And Suhrs. So there’s a whole lot of tones waiting there because of my UA account lol. So it made sense that I should get a tiny Volt for this purpose. Found some for well under 150 bones. That in conjunction w/ monitor headphones plus the Disruptor should keep me entertained on the road too
Thanks again fellas 👍🏼
