99.6% sure that's a player 7620. The bridge looks like a LoPro to me.

EDIT - yep, and those are either the stock pickups with new polepieces, or the stock ones that were buffed up a bit to get rid of the black finish - look at the tabs.

Not worth more than it's selling for, in that condition.

It certainly doesn't have the wenge neck strips - don't 1527s have those?

Player = one that's been played. In this case, rather a lot - look at the back.

It's got a black Lo-Pro. Case closed, it's a 7620 (the blue 1527 would have a more pronounced sparkle and a powder cosmo, i believe Edge Pro).

I agree with Drew. 100% a 7620. The 1527 would have a different neck, different pickups, different headstock, and the newer Edge trem.

$480 for a heavily played 7620 with original pickups in a UV1000?

I hate to say it, but the buyer got burned.

Well theres quite a few differnces:

- Has standard Ibanez headstock logo, RG1527 have always had prestige logo (probably the most obvious way to tell)
- Its got a Lo-Pro, RG1527 has Cosmo black EDGE-Pro (not powder cosmo
- Has chrome pole-pieces, RG1527 has black
- Has triangular pickup routs, RG1527 has large Semi-Circles
- Royal blue paint work means it could only be an 2005 RG1527, which means it would have to have the non-scarf 5-piece maple/wenge neck, smaller dot inlays, and top mount nut, which this one has none of, plus the RG1527 has an mettalic flip-paint version of royal blue
- The serial number logo is differnt on newer ibanez's, and you can see the year 99
