Hey folks, just finished mixing a rough recording from a new project I've embarked upon with a friend of mine. He wrote the basis of the song and is the singer, I recorded all the instruments and re-orchestrated it a little. It's called "Slip Away":

Ignore the fact I've called it "Bellyburns" there - that's from when we tried recording a much faster version, but when Alex sings the line "now my belly burns when the night-time dies" it kept coming out as all one word, haha. The slightly less entertaining title is "Slip Away".
Let me know whatchoo think!
PS: Just listening through to it again now, I realise I might just have committed that rare sin of using too much reverb on the vocals, haha.
For the nerds amongst you, equipment used was:
Vocals - Rode NT1A > Edirol UA25
Acoustics - Garrison G50 > Rode NT1A > Edirol UA25
Electrics - Kramer Nightswan II or 8-string Interceptor > Pod XT Live > Edirol UA25
Bass - Aria Pro Integra II > Edirol UA25 > Ampeg SVX
Organ - Novation Remote 49 LE > Edirol UA25 > Miroslav Philharmonik
Keyboard - Novation Remote 49 LE > Edirol UA25 > MrRay22
DAW was Ableton Live 7.0.1, and I use lots of the Ableton FX!
