Just quick question, what is the purpose of the second output on the VHT/Fryette Valvulator?

You can hook a second amp to it or send it to a tuner or whatever you want.

Yeah that's what I thought, just making sure. Is there any advantage to running my tuner out separately from the Valvulator instead of having it in the regular FX loop?

yes, but only if you are a tone nazi.
if the tuner isnt constantly in the signal path then its one less pedal slightly degrading your signal as it goes through it.

But I mean how much can it degrade? Isn't that the Vavlulator's purpose, To get rid of degradation?

Haha yes but it's still there. One less thing the better it is. Then if it's audible or not is another story...
