looks nice. I almost bought a Petrucci 7 today...
does anyone on here know what they are going
for used? Also, the guitar will be posted on Ebay
soon (the seller told me), and the price will be $1200
with case and original hang tags. the guitar has no
nicks or dings, all I could find were 2 small finish cracks
in the corners of the neck pocket and a very small
amount of fret wear. it looked like the original owner
played it some judging by the frets, but it must have
been in a padded room to never pick up even a tiny
ding

Yes it is! I am hoping I get it. If not I hope some one else on this board gets it.

:hbang:

Edit: Thanks Chris!

Antique violin or something? The finish on those guitars really looks good to me.

As long as someone on here gets it, that's all that matters. But Roger's right about the finish.

See though Dark Wolf, I like the CST finishes, the flamed tops. Those look good, altho not metal. But the VV finish I think Ibanez could have done much better.

If they didn't make the 2127X, I'd have prolly eventually bought a 2027X.

Or blew the wad on a CST when I found the chance.

Not trying to be a downer here but is anyone else concerned that the seller has only one feedback and apparently cannot spell ? And this person has a nice 7-string lying around ? Caveat emptor...

Yeah, I thought that too. The crappy pic and dodgy description ring alarms two. I mean, wouldn't you list that the two outputs are for magnetic and piezo?

I'd ask for some questions that would assure me it was legit. ie. Can I have a picture of the trem, what's the serial number, pics of the neck joint even.

Yeah, it's a bit suspicious - I wouldn't bid on it. Sadly. :noway:

I've always wanted one of those. I love the VV finish but of course ATM it's out of the question since I just bought my JC.

Good luck ajdehoogh!

I do like the VV finish, it is nicer in person than the pictures you see of it. Don't think that the black works as well showing of the wood, although if it was a flame top then it would be very very cool to have it in black. I keep wondering wether it'd be worth the money to have a top put on mine, a nice quilt :p and then finish it in translucent violet :p (bookmatching the headstock as well) or wether this would devalue the guitar!

Would look awesome cool though!

I had one of those for a brief time. The pickups were pretty weak and the the poor thing didn't play well at all.
