No shouldn't have passed on the Dean. having played it it's a pretty sweet guitar.

Budda, if we ever get around to having another Ohio ss.org jam. You're totally invited. :D

I got it at the Guitar Ranch in Findlay. It was the only seven they had. :D

Leon saw a white C7 FR at Peeler Music in Toledo but they sold it before I got there.

Way to come in late Drew.

Actually I think you'd dig the Loomis. It's got a big clear tone that dare I say it borders on Fender-like. You'd probably like it a lot.

They're surprisingly single-coil like, aren't they? the 707's?

I couldn't get on with the bridge 707 for rhythm which is why I eventually sold the Hellraiser, but I'm certainly curiious to give one a try... I just wish it had a tone knob.

The have certain single coil characteristics. I think it's in the construction and using rod magnets instead of the usual method.

But it sounds great no matter how much gain you use.

I sort of miss the tone knob but I've learned to use the GT-8 to compensate.

Nice collection!
Drew get your ass back down this way so
you can check out the Loomis I picked
up.
I decided I'm definitely keeping it.
I think you'll really like it.

Eric, i can install a dual concentric stacked pot in there, giving you volume and tone :)

i did it to my XV500, so that i could have volume and tone, since it only came with a volume.

Are there 25K dual cocentric pots?

Of course I don't miss the tone knob that much. I'm digging the Loomis as is. :D
