4x12 or 2x12 for livingroom chugging?

Ok guys, thank you very much.
It looks like I decided to keep my 4x12, will probably put it on some wheels (as it is now on the floor, so bass response is a bit too much for quieter volumes), and probably will try also rewiring to 2x8ohm.

I use a rubber mat with my Orange 2-12 or did in my last apartment. It really helps tame the link to the floor, neighbours confirmed quieter.

Cheap too, I had 25mm or an inch under it.
