Korn's "Coming Undone" and near the end of Divine Heresy's "Impossible Is Nothing" right before he starts the solo, the suuuupppeeerrr fast triplet gallops.....

KORN's breakdown in "Somebody Someone"........ Ultimate heaviness there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first riff in "Hybrid Cult" by Scar Symmetry is one of the best I've heard.

But this song is also up there:

Really, anything by Scar Symmetry would be on the top of my list.

Bland Street Bloom... that opening riff is just fucking explosive.

EDIT: Although it's not TECHNICALLY 7 string, it IS in Drop C or something like that... so it's pretty fuggin' close.

Hmmmm...

Dream Theater´s Lie comes to mind because that would be the first seven-string song I´ve ever payed attention to (or heard) in my life. Awesome!

A Change of Seasons has some sweet riffs too.

Korn´s Blind is also a classic to me... and screw those who hate them. You don´t have to be a shredder to make good riffs.

Fear Factory´s Obsolete is also a fuckin masterpiece!

And whoever said "Enemies of Reality" from Nevermore is also right, too bad when the vocalist starts singin he ruins the song. I like Nevermore´s guitar work but I don´t really like their singin´ style.

I forgot to mention.

Naren mentioned Scar Symmetry, I second that.

They´re like my favorite metal band now...

I really love that meshuggah-esque parte in the middle of The Illusionist, it fuckin owns.

I think some noob named Ken mentioned that song. But, you do know that no one listens to him anyway (as evidenced in this thread). ;)

Maybe you should give him the low-down. :mk:

The really simple part in the 2nd section of the The Glass Prison.. The C/B part. That riff is so badass.
