Helllooo, I am new to this site aha. I just recently got a Schecter C8, going straight from a six string, and I am having problems getting a good tone out of pod farm with it. Everything just sounds muddy and not clear, no matter what I do. I'm looking to get a tone comparable to the acacia strain. Suggestions?

I had the same problem with my 8 when I switched to it straight from my 6(I also use podfarm.)

To get the 8 to sound good you could try doing something like this:

Take a amp like the Big Bottom or any of your favorites and pair it with celest v30 cab. Then have dual tones on.Now on tone B have the same setup but have one of the bass cabs running through the Big Bottom(or amp of your choice) It will get a thick bassey sound for the 8th string and leave you with a nice sounding high end.

Or

Tone A: Guitar stuffs

Tone B: Bass stuffs

My friend does that, I personally don't like it but whatever floats your boat.
