Ad converters how big of a difference?

I have UX1 how much would buying another interface with high quality converters make a difference??

I also have a quality stand alone preamp. I always bypass the UX1 preamp with it. I'm thinking the preamp would perform better if I had nice converters? right?

As with everything in the signal chain, good AD converters help.

Of course a $4000 Prism converter is going to sound better and work better than a cheapo Line 6 one.

A better interface would help, most definitely.
