Same here. White pick-ups instead of black ones.

Will do when I get cash - for the time being its the new7s. If I remember i really liked the tone i was getting from the new7s.

You need a badass and pimp paint

I still think that you have to give some class to it, with a spalted maple veneer or maybe purpleheart :yesway:

Just finished a layer of the metallic blue on the body. Its a nice dark blue.. will have to borrow a camera to take shots of it when its done.

Alright duder... you've had 2 months... how 'bout some pics? :)

Later,
Jeff
I guess you must have missed the huge thread where I posted the pics.
:fawk:

Here is the flickr page where some of the pictures reside.
Fuck class. Keep rocking that flourescent green.
That flourescent green was nice - but the finish on it was matte and I could have done a few more coats of wetsanding+clearcoating.

Nice choice. :hbang: Dark blue with white pickups, knobs, etc. That is going to look hot. Can't wait to see some progress pics! :pimpin:

Shawn - I never progressed to the point I wanted to - as I sold the guitar on ebay.

I don't know why you'd repaint that thing. You're crazy.

And new 7s BLOW ASS.

I don't know about the bridge new7 but I love the neck new7, sounds as good, if not better than the Blaze neck IMO. To each his own. :yesway:

Care to be a little more constructive? This isn't harmony central. :)

There is nothing that pisses me off more than someone who just drops their opinion without justification - your right this isnt Harmony Central.

New 7s IMO sound like PAF 7s gone horribly wrong.
