Well I have outgrown the florescent green paint on my rg7620. I think its time to go back to something classy.

Im thinking this for the refinish.

Dark Blue Paint
- glow in the dark (if not to expensive)

Faux white binding around body, neck and headstock (under clearcoat)

Dimarzio Black New 7s.

Black Pickguard?

Will then try to get some glow in the dark paint for the inlay dots, pups which would have to be clear.

I finished doing the UV jack mod today to the body - just gotta use some bondo to make it look nice and tight.

Let me know - suggest products that you think I could use.

No pickguard. It doesn't seem likt a black one would be right over a dark blue body. If you must have one, make it something that heavily contrasts.

Right now the mod is kinda rough. I need to clean up the area around the hole as it got scrapped and nicked by the drill. Also need to smoothen out the inside of the hole.

Thanks bro - reading your thread right now. Is liquid wood readily available and where? Home Depot? or a crafts store?

I vote for Neon green \m/

No. No. we are moving away from that :wallbash:

I remember someone on here doing a kickass job of a blue metallic rg7620 with the cooley mod..
might have to talk to him.

i would luv to see a nice warm orange finish on a 7620, kinda like this:
OpalCabOrangMarq20x8mm3r37ctsm.jpg

with black diM, no pickguard, black knobs. ow. that would be so awesome.

I agree with no pickguard. I would do white pickups with the white binding, knobs, etc, that would look very nice with a dark, metallic blue. :metal:

I already got the blue metallic paint. Finished sanding the body and cleaned the putty in the UV jack cleaned it up.

Im gonna paint over the shielding paint in the cavities to make the body look even.

Do I need to worry about the treble bleeding with the pots?
