so i got a fender aerodyne jazz bass the other day, well the body and neck, and i'm gunna pimp it out!
ok so what i wanna do is
1, out some seymour duncan bass line pro active PJ pickups with a 3 band eq
2, get it refinished in a pearl/ metallic lime green
like this..
3, change the fretboard from rosewood to wenge and insert some abalone dots
4, install a fender deluxe bridge with strings through the body option
5, install a stereo barrel jack in the side some where
6, and then.......
ok so far i haven't done much buuuuuuut this is how far i've got....
i have the pick ups.... they came today but Aria they couldn't find the 3 band eq in there stock room, so they've quarantined it to find it. and they've got some from the states
i've got the bridge just need to fill in some holes and do some drilling
got the neck and abalone dots. waiting for the fret board atm
i won't put the fret board on myself i'll get a guy i know to do it! but it's on its way!
