An incredible 2 day event. I had a blast and Allan was as usual AMAZING!

By the way he told me he owns a carvin 727 and he fiddles with it at home...so technically speaking he is the best 7 string player I know.

Peace

Santiago

I am sooooooo jealous! Did you film any of it?

I'm suprised he hasn't recorded with the seven yet... Remember there was a piece on his old REH video where he demonstrates some huge open-voiced chords, with the notes spread between the E, A, B and e strings? It would be perfect for that...

Wow, that's awesome! He really ought to do something with the 727, but then he hasn't done any studio stuff in awhile, apart from the new Planet X.

Man, I really hope he makes the trip to Oz before he retires, if I never get the chance to see him I'll regret it for as long as I live.

Man, that'd be such a sweet show. I've been listening to Aghora - Formless and Allan Holdsworth - Secrets, for the past week now.

I have it I got it at the show. Its very good except Pascual and Hasslip are very boring. I prefer Jimmy Johnson on bass and no keys.

Funny...Haslip's usually a pretty decent player. The best bassists he's ever played with would be Jeff Berlin or Skulli Sverison in my mind.
