Even though i can't understand them, Rammsteins albums really took me places, especially when i think they really found their sound and went for it...so
Morrissey's Your Arsenal is absolute magic to me. Most of my favorite tracks of his are from other albums. But Your Arsenal really delivers a dynamic. The ups and downs are perfect to me. Personally, I put a lot of emotional stock in some of the songs on this record, the content is really a departure from his well established and chronicled adolescence. The miserable acceptance of his adulthood really struck a nerve at a weird time in my life.
Lyrically, it is one of the best albums ever written. Musically, it sits just right.
Otherwise, cursive's the ugly organ sticks out. And that last Paramore record was really good too.
Tool - Lateralus Mastodon - Blood Mountain Devin Townsend - Ziltoid The Omniscient The Offspring - Ignition Iced Earth - Horror Show Megadeth - Rust In Peace AFI - The Art Of Drowning
I can listen to these albums front to back any day of the week, each bringing me back to a certain memory of my life.
