Just a little more info for anyone who cares... My Thorn buddy put me in touch with his friend who is a Suhr fiend (the dude has some of the coolest Suhrs! ) and he lives close to the Suhr factory. This guitar was built for the 2008 NAMM show but he swung by the factory early and one of the builders (forget who off the top of my head) pointed the guitar out to him and told him he needed to pick it up! He checked it out and grabbed it before they could take it to NAMM so they had to make another one for the show, hence why this one already has "NAMM" for the order on the spec sheet! Thought that was an added touch to the cool factor on this baby, usually when custom guitars are made for the NAMM show they want the best stuff on display so even though I already know Suhr puts a lot of work into their guitars maybe they put just a little more into this one? Is it next Friday yet?!

No, it's dripped metallic paint. There's no stain involved.

Suhr's dripped paint finishes are awesome, I particularly love the purple one Peter got recently \m/
