My aging RG7420's finish was a bit worse for the wear... so I decided to get it some new duds.

Here it is, after spraying on some underwear.

Painting will take place tomorrow, and probably the next few days. I won't reveal the color choice, suffice to say that I chose nothing from my poll because I saw something much more awesome-seeming at my girlfriend's place of employment.

Sand the fuck out of it. Done!


Cool project man, I really enjoyed refinishing mine. I advice you to sand between some of the coats also, especially the primer. Use 320 or 400 even. Keep it up! Oh, and when you take closeups make sure to focus on the object and not the background
