Most of what I listen to isn't metal, so technically I could just post something like my entire music collection but here's one:

If you ever do yourself a service, make it be that you listen to this whole album from front to back. It will pretty much just change your life.

Forget "non-metal" - Béla Fleck and the Flecktones count as an amazing band full stop.

The Decemberists are super great. 'The Crane Wife' album and 'The Hazards of Love' are my fave albums.

This is my good friend David Rönnegård, who used to do monstrous growls for my bass player and drummer's old death metal band :) To everyone's surprise he later proved to be an amazing singer/songwriter and fingerstyle guitar player, still with that cool metal edge to his voice. Ridiculous range too!

^Pretty good stuff. Really enjoying it. Even just the simplicity of the drums mixed with the guitar is sounding really good but his voice really brings that all together.

Coheed & Cambria and Live will always be my favorites. I really enjoy Fair To Midland as well.
