the drums seem to loud in my opinion, and sounds like your clipping an awful lot, so turn down your volumes dude! the drums especially

How do you recorded it? Drum sounded too synthetic especially the bassdrum.
And for the guitars... they could really need some lower frequencies, or you
could try to fix this problem with the bass but there is a huge hole in this mix
where the punch should be.

The drums are Addictive Drums. I've put some eq on the snare and the kick because they sounded dry. The guitars were recorded through a POD studio GX. Thanks for the advice. I'll try to do something about the kick and the guitars :)

I enjoyed your cover alot! Maybe you'd like to do vocals for mine when its done? :D

Edit: I've changed the file on soundcloud so now you can check out the new version.

guitars:
How does you signal chain look after the POD?
Do you use ampsims and impulses or the internal
sounds?

drums:
Addictives Drums right? Hmmm... i would search
for some better presets as a better starting point
and afterwards try to tweak the velocity, so it
tweaks the feeling of a real drummer a little bit
more, especially the overheads.

Guitar chain: GreenGate --> Compressor (I don't know how to use it to be honest...) --> TSE808 --> TSE X30 Ampsim --> Asem recto and Mesa Oversized impulses --> EQ (high cut). That's it.

Hmmm... maybe try the compressor at the end of the chain and add some
more room with delay and reverb but sounds okay to me, what guitar did
you use for this records?

It's a 6-string schecter demon with stock pickups (Duncan designed). It's cheap, but awesome :)
