Hi folks, here's a little graphic project that I had done a short while ago by a local artist. It's basically a 2007 Ibanez Prestige RG2610EBK that received an airbrush finish of a famous Anime character that many Europeans who grew up in the 80s will most likely recognize. :)

Is it bad that I automatically assumed it to have some big breasted little girl in a mini skirt because it said anime? Nevermind, looks sick. Happy Repaint Day!

Cool one. That's a character I guess more europeans than japanese know. ^^
For the younger ones, that series was part of the "second wave" of japanese anime braodcast on some european TVs in the early 80es. First wave being UFO Robot Grendizer, Captain Harlock etc.
that's something I can relate to very well.
And...er...DIBS ! :D

Side note: I believed 2610s came with SD Full Shred standard, not IBZ pickups ?

You are absolutely right. However, when I got the guitar, it came with a different Seymour Duncan pickup (Duncan Distortion Trembucker). The previous owner replaced the Full Shred and I again replaced the Duncan with an IBZ USA because I had it lying around here - plus it sounds better in Basswood for my taste.
