Not a big gamer, but I like to play here and there and was thinking about picking up a Wii U, mostly for Mario Kart and Yoshi's Wooly World. Also, I'm cheap. Is there a widely used site like Reverb, but just for used or refurbished consoles, games, etc? Obviously there's Ebay and Gamestop's used section, just curious if there's anything else out there.

Nope, not really. If you're patient, you can keep an eye on Craigslist and Letgo. I've gotten plenty of vidya game deals on those sites. It just may take some time.

If you have a Half Price Books in your area, they are a great source for used games. I got a ton for my Wii there, for cheaper than GameStop.

There used to be a site called Goozex, where you could rate games you've played, want to play, own, etc... And then trade/sell with others, but I'm not sure if its still around or what capacity it's operating if it is.

the guy who started vgpc (video game price charting) that tracks the average value of games sold on ebay, started another site called jjgames which is a marketplace you can buy and sell.
