Any tabs around for 8 strings?

Hi,
I have my first 8 string coming friday, and looking for something to play on it.

It's only showing 7 string tabs on that. It says press F5 but nothing happens.

Check the other guitar parts after pressing it, some parts are only on 7 strings

I did try that, I am still only finding 7 strings. Oh well.

Here's a bunch of Meshuggah Emmure tabs:

and that's some new Emmure song tabs - they went all out and went OVER the second fret

Lack of 8 string tabs can even provide an awesome enough reason to get learning by ear too!

Learning by ear? ha! no seriously that IS better...

Head over to Ultimate-Guitar.com and enjoy the tab selection. You will just have to pick a band or 2 that utilizes the all-mighty 8-string (Mesh, AAL etc.). I would also recommend getting Guitar Pro 5 and using those files if you want to learn. FYI Most of the tabs are tabbed out for 7-strings but using the lower 7, a few have the full 8.

A good way of learning a song that isn't either tabs or by ear, is programming it in MIDI while listening to the parts bit by bit. Effective, but helpful!

Those are definitely good idea. I do frequent ultimate-guitar.com. I have an app on my ipad to display GP tabs, I might need to get one for my Mac too.
