Anyone ever seen/played an Ibanez 430S?

Was just looking at old ibanez catalogs and saw this,

I love Strats and Ibanez guitars so it caught my eye. Here is a better picture of one,

From what I can tell they were only in the 91 catalog so I can't imagine there were very many made.

There was a thread on these over on Jemsite forever ago. Apparently only about 100 of them saw the light of day, globally. With less than 50 getting into the US.

They were only available on an order by order basis, and from what I remember not very competitively priced compared to other models at the time, having to be special ordered and all.

You'd have an easier time scoring a LACS at this point.

It sure is weird seeing S-S-S on an Ibanez. Looks like these were in the 90 catalog as well:

I had one, sold it. Its NOT a strat, and was an awkward guitar. They are rare but arent worth much. Your money is better spent on an actual strat imo...

That's true but the seller has a bad reputation (check his feedback) and the bridge pickup has been replaced. Also I think the price is a little too high.
