Anyone trid the lpj goldtop, whats it like?

now the lpj's have been out for a while I was wondering what the verdict is on these guitars.

I just ordered a lefty chocolate satin one!! Can't wait to get it!! Gonna do some mods, pups with black cover must go!!

I've played a few. As with any guitar, some of them didn't have the greatest setup and I found the pickups to be a little weak. But every one I've tried has felt great and played fairly well!

how weak were the pickups, would they cover hard rock to metal

I thought the pups were just fine. I'd probably drop the steve stevens set in though so It would really kill.

They weren't bad by any means. They're just more suited for blues and rock, although they handle heavy music relatively well
