Anyone use the EMG Pa2 boost?

I'm thinking about installing the Pa2 in my Esp Mh350NT and was wondering if anyone uses one and whether or not they find it useful. I use emg 81,85. I know the difference between the Pa2 and the Ab afterburner. The afterburner just adds dirt and doesn't seem to really boost the volume. I want a volume boost to switch on for leads and solos.
